McGill's Shag Shop makes donations to Kibale Health Clinic. Thanks for your support Shag Shop!

McGill's Shag Shop has made a number of important donations including over 1,000 condoms, 100's of tampons, and much needed educational material for the Kibale Health Clinic. Contradance for Kibale! Contredansons pour l’Ouganda!

Joignez-vous à nous le vendredi 2 décembre pour une contredanse à la Maison de l’amitié (120 Rue Duluth Est, Montréal) de 19h00 à 23h00. Tous les fonds amassés durant cette soirée-bénéfice nous aideront à équiper une clinique de santé. Notre objectif dans l’année qui vient est de recueillir 5,000 $ afin d’acheter 50,000 condoms pour répondre à la demande. Pour plus de détails cliquez ici!

Come and join us for a benefit contradance on Friday, December 2nd at the House of Friendship (120 Rue Duluth Est, Montreal) from 7:00 to 11:00 pm. All funds raised during this event will help resupply The Kibale Health Centre. Our goal in the coming year is to raise $5,000 to provide the clinic with 50,000 condoms to meet the demand and to develop adequate safe sex educational material. For more details click here! The Condoms for Kibale Program Kicks off!

Trojan has generously offered the Kibale Health & Conservation Project condoms at cost (10 cents/condom), and partnering with McGill's Shag Shop we hope to provide the clinic with 50,000 condoms this coming January. Welcome Nurse Lucy!

The Kibale Health Clinic now has a second nurse joining its ranks. Nurse Lucy Kanjansi will help allowing the clinic to reach women in the surrounding community as well as allow the clinic to operate more continously and help more people.We are excited to have Nurse Lucy join us!

Congratulations Denis!

Nurse Denis Natamba is in the proccess of finishing his HIV/AIDS training, which includes training as a counciler and all the necessary techniques he needs for providing HIV/AIDS testing at the Kibale Health Clinic. In addition he will be able to administer free retroviral drugs for those individuals who are diagnosed HIV positive. We are excited about the many new services the clinic will now be able to provide to the community. Great job Denis!
